Man fatally shot on Guess Road in Durham identified

A man was fatally shot in Durham Monday afternoon, police said.

The shooting happened on the 3800 block of Guess Road around 5:23 p.m., police said in a news release.

Brandon Michal Bullock-Wall, of Durham, was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was 31.

Police have not identified a suspect or announced any arrests but say the shooting is an isolated incident.

This year, more than 40 people have died by homicide in Durham, according to police statistics and data collected by the News & Observer.
