Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular (8 p.m., NBC) — Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host this live party in New York with the nation’s largest fireworks display and big names in music like Kelly Clarkson, Ricky Martin, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

A Capitol Fourth (8 p.m., PBS / UNC-TV) — This annual concert, hosted by John Stamos, takes place on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
