What to Watch on Tuesday: Samuelsson series transports foodies, 'No Passport Required'

No Passport Required (9 p.m., PBS / UNC-TV) -- A new six-part series hosted by chef Marcus Samuelsson that takes viewers across the country to explore the diversity of immigrant traditions and cuisine woven into American food and culture. Samuelsson visits Detroit in tonight’s premiere, then it’s on to New Orleans, New York, Chicago, Miami and Washington, D.C .in future installments.

The Outpost (9 p.m., The CW) -- A new series about a woman named Talon, the last survivor of the Blackblood race, who seeks vengeance on the gang of brutal missionaries who destroyed her entire village. Years after that life-defining attack, she travels to a lawless fortress along the edge of the civilized world, tracking the killers. As she makes the journey, she discovers that she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must now learn to control.

The Last Defense (10 p.m., ABC) -- In Part 5 of this great crime docu-series about controversial death row cases, we get the story of University of Oklahoma student Julius Jones, who was convicted in the shooting death of a businessman.
