What to Watch on Saturday: Hallmark’s ‘Love in Design’ and more Oxygen true crime
If you still have power (Hurricane Florence, please leave already!) and you need a break from watching local news around the clock, here’s what’s on tonight.
Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers (7 p.m., Oxygen) - This new five-part true crime series investigates the brutal murder of a 19-year-old girl in a small town in Mississippi and the local black man accused of the crime. Saturday’s two-hour premiere is an introduction to Jessica Chambers, the once-cheerleader who ended up running with a dangerous crowd. Investigators talk to family members, friends, first responders and law enforcement about the case, which has divided the Mississippi community.
Love in Design (9 p.m., Hallmark) - A TV star returns to her small New England hometown to renovate a historic manor home. When her former boyfriend is assigned to approve her designs, the two must figure out a way to work together. This one stars Hallmark favorites Danica McKellar and Andrew Walker.
