I don’t know how this one slipped past me: Durham’s Crystal Mangum was the subject of a “Snapped” episode on the Oxygen network earlier this month.

Mangum, of course, was the dancer at the center of the Duke Lacrosse scandal from 2006. But “Snapped” is primarily concerned with her 2013 conviction for the murder of her roommate and boyfriend Reginald Daye, who Mangum stabbed in 2011.

The episode features news footage and interviews with Durham Police Department crime scene specialist Al Brown, WRAL crime reporter Amanda Lamb, Raleigh attorney Joseph Cheshire V, friends and family members of Mangum and Daye, and others.

The episode aired on Oct. 7 and has been in reruns, so you can still catch it on TV. But if you can’t wait for the rerun to roll back around, you can watch online at Oxygen. It looks like it will be available online for free for about three more months.

The true crime series “Snapped,” now in its 24th season, features cases of women accused of murder.
