Happy New Year, Charlie Brown (8 p.m., ABC) - While other members of the Peanuts gang plan a New Year’s celebration, Charlie Brown struggles with reading “War and Peace.”

Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey (8 p.m., Lifetime Movies) - A movie about the 17-year-old girl who used reverse psychology to get her kidnapper to release her. But when she returns home, the only person who believes her story is a detective who thinks she was taken by notorious serial killer, Bobby Joe Long. This is based on a true story. (Note: This airs on the Lifetime Movie channel, not the regular Lifetime channel.)

Top Chef (9 p.m., Bravo) - In the Restaurant Wars challenge, the chefs battle in an amuse bouche-based Quickfire, and later, Tom makes an announcement that leaves the chefs breathless.
