The Last Days of John F. Kennedy Jr. (9 p.m., ABC) - This two-hour special looks at the life of John F. Kennedy Jr., cut short by his tragic death in a plane crash nearly 20 years ago. The report looks at stressors the young Kennedy faced in the days leading up to the crash, which also killed his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and her sister, Lauren Bessette. JFK Jr.’s stressors, according to ABC, including turmoil in his marriage and struggles to keep his magazine, George, financially stable. The special includes rare footage of John and Carolyn and also interviews with people close to him, such as old college roommates, former girlfriends and colleagues at George.

The Titan Games (8 p.m., NBC) - Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosts this new competition show that give everyday men and women a chance to test their physical and mental strength. One of tonight’s competitors is Ashley Hawkins, a police officer from Madison, N.C., who now lives in Pleasant Garden, N.C.
Gotham (8 p.m., Fox) - In the premiere of the fifth and final season, Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne face the chaos Gotham City has become, as the villains who survived the attack on the city begin to resurface.

Surviving R. Kelly (9 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new 6-part documentary series, women who were abused by R&B singer R. Kelly speak out and present damning evidence about his encounters with underage girls. The series presents more than 50 interviews with Kelly’s brothers, some of his exes and with celebrities like John Legend and Wendy Williams. Two episodes air tonight and two more episodes air tomorrow night and Saturday night.
The Night That Didn’t End (10 p.m., Investigation Discovery) - Tonight’s episode of this new true crime series looks at the 2015 murder of a young mother from Leland, N.C., who was kidnapped, murdered and left in a swamp.
The Blacklist (10 p.m., NBC) - In the Season 6 premiere, Liz and her sister investigate the night the real Raymond Reddington died, while Red puts the task force on the trail of a doctor who uses plastic surgery to change criminals’ identities.
