Pop-Up Drive-In Theater

We change the world with one single act of kindness at a time — a timeless, fitting and ever-apt reminder from ole Evan Baxter. Converging Stories

Once upon a time, a community storytelling event hosting 10-minute stories on different interpretations around a theme launched in Raleigh (Converging Stories) as a partnership between Raleigh Convergence and Transfer Co. Ballroom. First held in February (Converging Stories: The First Love) to a sold-out crowd, the event went virtual post-pandemic in May with “What If.” Now back for another virtual installment Aug. 10 (7 p.m.) — and appropriately themed Coming Home — the interactive event will feature storytellers Johnny Lee Chapman III, Dakota Batch and Lee Posey Pike.
