Missed out on Taylor Swift tickets? NC nonprofit offers hope with concert ticket raffle
Is karma really your boyfriend?
Taylor Swift fans from across the country can now see how far good deeds go as a North Carolina non-profit launches its Taylor Swift ticket raffle to support local cancer patients.
Caring Community Foundation will raffle off four tickets to see Swift in concert as part of her highly anticipated Eras Tour.
Although Swift will not be making a stop in the Carolinas, winners will be able to see the Eras Tour at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. on May 5. Organizers say the tickets are for lower-level seats. Two winners will be selected.
Tickets are $100 per entry or $250 for three entries.
After buying a raffle ticket, fans also have the opportunity to earn extra entries by referring friends and family members to the raffle. Each entry purchased by a referral will earn an additional entry for the referring individual.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to cancer patients in need across North Carolina.
Caring Community Foundation, established in 2001, is a non-profit focused on assisting cancer patients with expenses outside of medical bills: transportation, utility bills, rent and other bills.
Thousands of fans nationwide entered their anti-hero era as they were shut out of ticket sales due to high demand and a Ticketmaster meltdown. In a Congressional hearing on Tuesday, Ticketmaster apologized to fans for the situation.
Two winners for the raffle will be selected and notified on March 3. Fans can enter at caringcommunityfoundation.org/swiftraffle.
