After seven tours with countless shows, Dead & Company says their summer 2023 tour is it.

“The Final Tour” launched in mid-May and is making its way across the country with the band performing two sets of music of Grateful Dead songs each night.

Thursday night, they played at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The band, which formed in 2015, includes the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and Bob Weir with John Mayer. They’ll be joined by Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.

They’re regulars on the tour circuit. Before launching “The Final Tour,” they had played 164 concerts and performed 143 unique songs.
