Freaks On Parade: Rob Zombie in concert with Alice Cooper in Raleigh

Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie brought their own brand of shock rock and roll theater and grotesque heavy darkness to Raleigh, N.C.’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park Tuesday night. Elaborate staging by Cooper and hot licks by his tight band were followed by pyrotechnics and swaths of dark blue and red light in Zombie’s horror movie hell of a set.
Cooper recently lost a cosmetics deal after calling transgenderism “a fad”. Vampyre Cosmetics severed ties with Cooper earlier in August he spoke called “cases of transgender” a “fad” in aninterview with music blog Stereogum.
