The event will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for the next three years, the IBMA announced earlier this summer. World of Bluegrass debuted in Raleigh in 2013.

When is the Raleigh bluegrass festival?

The final Raleigh event, which includes a conference, awards ceremony, concerts at downtown venues and a massive street festival, will take place Tuesday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Sept. 28 in downtown Raleigh.

The main event is a free two-day festival on Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28. Fans will need tickets for the biggest concerts at Red Hat Amphitheater, but street stages on and around Fayetteville Street will have free live music from 12 noon to 11 p.m.
