‘The Hunger Games' Star Has Been Arrested for Assault With Intent To Kill
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, actor Ethan Jamieson was arrested on March 23. He is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill after allegedly assaulting three men. They were listed in the court documents under the initials E.F., J.M., and K.W.
The incident reportedly occurred in Raleigh, North Carolina with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. This is the state where Jamieson currently resides. However, this isn't the first time that Jamieson has been in trouble with the law. In 2025, he was arrested, then charged with resisting arrest.
Jamieson, who started acting in 2009 when he was only a child, appeared in The Hunger Games as the District 4 male tribute. It was his major motion film debut. Along with Rue, his character was one of the smallest and youngest competing in the games during the year that Katniss volunteered.
When he was only 13, Jamieson was interviewed by Lancaster Online and said, "I knew that the books were popular, but I didn't know that the movie was going to be so big." He then went on to discuss how he was asked to signed autographs for fans during the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of the film. "I thought that was pretty awesome," he added.
However, he admitted that he didn't see himself acting full-time in the future. "I want to be just a normal person," he said.

Before auditioning for The Hunger Games, Jamieson appeared in a few commercials for Cici's Pizza and Doritos. He also appeared on an episode of One Tree Hill as "Kid No. 2," The Rusty Bucket Kids: Lincoln, Journey to 16, and the short film, Gravity. His most recent appearance was in 2013 when he had a guest role on Justified as Milo Truth.
According to Us Weekly, he also appeared as himself in several behind-the-scenes features for The Hunger Games, including 2012's The World Is Watching: Making the Hunger Games, which contained interviews with cast and crew members along with some footage of the film. He also appeared in 2017's Extras: The Hunger Games.
