Trader Joe's $4 Find Has Returned - Why Fans Obsess Over the Easy Dinner
It's always satisfying when you find a hearty dish at Trader Joe's that costs less than $5.
Typically around this time of the year, a fan-favorite ravioli returns to shelves of the popular grocer. Customers are currently obsessing over the Sweet Corn, Burrata, & Basil Ravioli, which is now available at Trader Joe's locations, Allrecipes reports, for just $3.99.
"For this seasonal pasta selection, we wanted to focus on three flavors that evoke the very best of summer cuisine: fresh kernels of sweet corn, fresh cheese (creamy burrata and ricotta), and delicately savory and herby basil," the product's online description reads.
It continues, "Together, along with a supportive mix of Cheddar, Parmesan, and bread crumbs, these ingredients combine to create one delightfully flavorful filling that's then packed into pockets of yellow-striped semolina pasta to create Trader Joe's Sweet Corn, Burrata, & Basil Ravioli. Once cooked, each Ravioli is tender and cheesy, with a satisfying al dente texture that's smartly accentuated by the pop of the whole, sweet corn kernels."
Check out a social media post below from this time of the year in 2025, when the ravioli had also returned to the popular chain's locations across the U.S.
Fans voiced their support for the $4 find in the post's comments section at the time. "I almost ate the entire package the other day," wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, "I always buy like 4 when I see them!"
To prepare, simply place the ravioli in boiling water, reduce to a simmer and cook for five to six minutes. Plate it with a drizzle of your favorite olive oil, add a generous sprinkling of shaved or grated Parmesan, and serve it alongside a summery salad, per the online product description. And feel free to pair with it a nice, citrusy white wine.
To make it a complete entrée, Allrecipes suggests adding Rao's signature pasta sauce to the ravioli - for perhaps the "easiest two-ingredient dinner ever."
