'Today' Co-anchor Craig Melvin Reveals Bold Hair Transformation
Today co-anchor Craig Melvin just revealed a bold hair transformation.
On Sunday, April 19, Melvin took to Instagram with a selfie showing off his new look as he ended a week-long vacation with this family.
"My daughter wants me to post what I look like at the end of vacation week with no shaving and hair care," the NBC morning show journalist wrote of his younger child, Sybil "Sibby" Ann Melvin, 9.
Melvin added, "She's not on ig bc she's so young but seems to understand social media shaming nonetheless. Back to work tomorrow. See you there."
In the comments, fans weighed in on his unshaven face after stepping away from the Today desk for some rest and relaxtin with Sibby, his wife, Lindsay Czarniak, and their son, Delano Melvin, 12.

In the comments, Melvin's colleagues and followers shared their mixed reactions to his stubble. Well, if you count Carson Daly's tongue-in-cheek response, delcaring, "You look terrible π."
Almost everyone else thought Melvin looked great. Today lifestyle contributor Jill Martin, however, commented, "ππππππ."
One follower pointed out, "Looking relaxed and refreshed!!! Hope it was amazing!!!!"
Someone else shared, "Looks like a successful vacation was had to meπππ," as another echoed, "Rested and happy! Hope you had a great weekend!"
A different fan exclaimed, "I think it looks π₯!"
Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user suggested, "Leave it!"
While Melvin was enjoying fun in the sun last week, Hoda Kotb returned to Today to fill in alongside Savannah Guthrie as a co-host. Guthrie recently returned to the show, herself, on April 6 for the first time since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, was abducted on Feb. 1.
Although Melvin and Guthrie were absent from Today on Friday, April 17, both returned on Monday, April 20. (And yes, he did shave for the show.)
