Pat Sajak's Daughter Hard Launches Her Relationship With Fan-Favorite Savannah Bananas Player
Maggie Sajak, the daughter of beloved Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, recently hard launched her relationship with a popular Savannah Bananas player. According to her April 21 Instagram post, she is dating infielder Jackson Olson, who many fans have been pushing to get cast on Dancing with the Stars.
Maggie posted a photograph with the athlete in front of a Disney castle with the caption, "Applications closed." This is a reference to a TikTok video that he posted in December, where he said, "As some of you know, I've been single for over five years. And I've been getting pretty tired of it recently. So here's my official 2026 boyfriend application." In it, he stated that he dances on baseball fields for a living, loves Disney, knows "more Taylor Swift songs than you," and has an unhealthy obsession with musicals.

The photo of the new couple has already racked up over 100k likes with thousands of comments congratulating the pair. One said, "Awwww. Can we get a story on this happened?! Because adorable." Another simply said, "Obsessed with this hard launch."
On April 21, Olson referenced the relationship by sharing a clip to his Instagram Stories from the movie Elf. It depicted the scene where the main character, Buddy, says, "I'm in love and I don't care who knows it." Olson captioned it, "Me right now."

In addition to being the daughter of an iconic game show host, 31-year-old Maggie is a country music singer and special Super Bowl correspondent for Inside Edition. 28-year-old Olson started with the Savannah Bananas in 2022 and has over a million followers on TikTok. Since he is already known for his choreographed dancing on the field, many people believe he would be a great fit for Dancing with the Stars.
The Savannah Bananas are an exhibition baseball team based in Georgia who play a variation of baseball called Banana Ball. Their games include fan participation and showmanship, similar to the Harlem Globetrotters. However, they are still competitive. Many of their players are former minor league or college players.
