When Did Kathleen Turner Last Hit the Red Carpet?

Turner last stepped out to attend the New York premiere of Netflix's Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man at DGA Theater. While she walked with a cane then, the icon looked happy and healthy.

Before that, the legendary actress made a rare appearance last summer at the New York City premiere of The Roses at the Hudson Theatre on Monday. The black comedy, based on the 1981 novel The War of the Roses by Warren Adler, tells the story of a couple, Ivy and Theo, played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman, who face a crossroads in their troubled relationship. Andy Samberg, Kate McKinnon, and Allison Janney have supporting roles in the film.

It would have been only appropriate to have Turner at the premiere of the film, since she starred opposite Michael Douglas in the 1989 film adaptation of the book, which was a runaway hit directed by Danny DeVito. The legendary actress wore a full-length black dress for the occasion, along with black sandals. While her arm was in a sling, there was no word about the cause of her injury. With Cumberbatch and Colman by her side, Turner appeared happy to be at the big event.
