UPERFECT UGame C2 Pro Review: Fast, Vivid, and Built for Gaming on the Go

If you haven't heard of UPERFECT, the brand is quickly gaining traction in the portable monitor market with products built for both work and play. It's UGame C2 Pro - a 16-inch, 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate - delivers vivid color and sharp performance, making it a strong option for content creation and gaming across devices.

What's in the Box

When unboxing, you'll get the monitor, two USB-C to USB-C cables, one mini HDMI to HDMI Cable, a screw kit to mount the monitor to a stand, a power adapter, one smart cover, and a user manual.

Feature Set

While maybe unassuming to some at first glance, the UGame C2 Pro is loaded with a variety of features. Starting off, the monitor has two USB Type-C inputs, a mini HDMI input, and one 3.5mm AUX audio output for headphones. It's equipped with 2k resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and it uses low-blue-light technology to filter harmful blue light and protect the eyes of all ages. Flicker-free eliminates the harmful flicker of traditional LCDs, preventing eye strain and impaired vision. It also has built-in dual speakers, weighs only 0.75 kg (1.66 lbs), and is 11mm (0.43 inch) thick.

Real Life Testing

When testing UGame C2 Pro with a PC laptop, MacBook, ROG Ally X, and the Nintendo Switch, the picture quality remained consistent with crisp video quality. Its HDR mode is a nice bonus as it gives games a more vivid color profile. When playing first-person shooters, I was pleased to see that the response speed is exceptional at 144Hz, with the brightness and clarity holding up against graphically intensive games. I appreciate that the monitor comes with a power adapter, so I don't have to worry about my device being responsible for powering the device.

For productivity, the colors and text provide solid clarity for a second screen for content creation and other work tasks. It's also portable and doesn't take up too much space in a backpack. While not very loud, the speakers sound clear and solid if you don't have an external speaker available.

My only minor complaint would be that I sometimes had trouble connecting cables to the device's inputs, most notably the mini-HDMI input. While the cable was connected, I was worried that it wasn't plugged in correctly. In addition, the buttons are small, and it's sometimes difficult to press the correct inputs to change the settings.

The speakers are decent but muted and lack volume. For a better audio experience, connect external headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack.

Final Verdict

Priced at $329.99 but often discounted to $199.99, the UGame C2 Pro delivers strong value for gamers seeking an immersive experience and a portable boost to their setup on the go.

Positives:

Lightweight and portable

Smart Cover provides protection and convenience to setup

Picture Quality is vivid and crisp at this price range

Negatives:

The buttons are really small to operate the menu

Sometimes difficult to plug in cables into the inputs

Speakers sound soft

Score: 9.5
