Arnold Schwarzenegger Spotted on Rare Date Night With Girlfriend of Nearly 14 Years

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his longtime girlfriend were spotted leaving Malibu hotspot Nobu, a rare public outing for the private couple, on April 28.

In photos obtained by People, Schwarzenegger was dressed casually in blue jeans and a black sweater, with a black blazer finishing off the Terminator star's ensemble.

Heather Milligan, on the other hand, wore a white blazer with gold buttons over black pants and a white sweater.

Schwarzenegger first met Milligan in 2012, around eight months after he and Maria Shriver separated. He went to the LA-based physical therapist for help getting in shape. In a 2023 interview with PEOPLE, he revealed that their introduction was thanks to his surgeon. After having shoulder surgery, he was due to begin filming Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone in three months.

"I said, 'I got to do this movie, and I bring a lot of punches and I have fights with Sly and I want to have my act together," he recalled saying to his surgeon. "And so he says, 'There's only one (person), it's Heather -- any athlete, I always send them to her, because she's the only one that really knows what they're talking about."

"So I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you," he continued. "And then one thing led to the next."

Milligan eventually founded her own company, Elite OrthoSport Physical Therapy & Performance. According to her bio, she has a Master's degree in Business Administration and "three highly regarded certifications." Schwarzenegger bragged that she put herself through college bartending and taking out student loans. "She is just driven as hell," he said.

The True Lies star and Milligan were first spotted together publicly in Feb. 2013. Over the years, the couple has regularly come together to celebrate Oktoberfest, with Milligan often photographed in various dirndl styles. She also shows up to support him at his premieres. After being together for more than a decade, she's also become an accepted part of the family, regularly posing with them at events.

"I have a wonderful girlfriend, [physical therapist] Heather Milligan, who is very successful," he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023. "I'm really proud of her, and I love her."
