The First Trailer Just Dropped for This New Netflix Series That Could Be ‘Stranger Things' for Boomers

Stranger things are in store for Boomers on the brand-new Netflix seriesThe Boroughs, and now expectant viewers can finally watch its very first trailer to see what could be lurking in the shadows.

The trailer kicks off with a panoramic view of The Boroughs, a residential community inhabited by a number of familiar faces. One of them, Sam, played by Alfred Molina, appears skeptical of his new home, but as the video continues, we catch glimpses of the camaraderie between everyone living at the housing development.

"The Boroughs is a good place. We take care of each other, like a family," says Jack, portrayed by Bill Pullman (Independence Day). Geena Davis (A League of Their Own), Alfre Woodard (Radio), Denis O'Hare (Dallas Buyers Club), and Clarke Peters (The Wire) round out the core group of characters, with Jena Malone (Hatfields & McCoys) as Sam's daughter, Claire. Sam's suspicion of The Boroughs and his fellow neighbors takes a mysterious turn as he admits to seeing "things" since his arrival. But it turns out he's not the only one.

So what could be waiting in store for this new group of misfit retirees? As the trailer comes to a close, something scarier than death itself. "The central question of the show is: What will you do with the time you have left?" says executive producer Will Matthews.

He adds, "No one knows how much time they have left. Everyone of every age is trying to figure out what to do with the time they have left. And sometimes that question is inspiring all the things you want to do. Sometimes that's a weight. There's a lot of different ways to face the rest of your life, but everyone is always facing the rest of their life. And that's why it's a show for everybody."

Get ready to see time spent and demons fought on The Boroughs on May 21.
