Michael Rapaport Slams 'Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard as 'Overrated'-She Claps Back With Explosive Response
Shots are fired as actor and Bravo fan Michael Rapaport's spicy remarks about Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard set the house on fire, and Lindsay is ready to duke it out with him over his claim that she's lacking a strong storyline on the show.
In the video that started the mess, Rapaport said his attorney "advised [him] not to" weigh in-but did it anyway, claiming her ire toward ex-fiance Carl Radke and his mother Sharon is tired.
"It's been two years since Carl left you at the altar," Rapaport said. "Is it time to let it go?" He went on to argue that Lindsay's storyline has revolved around "Carl, Carl, and Carl," while also accusing her of focusing too much on other cast members' relationships instead of her own narrative.
He then dug (his grave) deeper by calling Lindsay "the most overrated person on Bravo," despite trying to save face by saying, "I know your history. I know you were left at the altar. I know you're a queen, old Mother Hubbard, young mother Hubbard, whatever you wanna call it."
But there was nothing he could say to extinguish the grenade he threw.
In a fiery response, Lindsay called Rapaport out directly-and calling her "activated" would be an understatement. "You wanna say something, turn your f-ing comments on. Don't be a little b-," she said, escalating the situation into what she framed as a potential "media war."
Lindsay also pushed back hard on the substance of his criticism, reminding viewers that her life has evolved significantly, which includes becoming a mother. "Did you forget that I had a baby?" she shot back, rejecting the idea that her recent arc has been defined solely by her past relationship. She reminded him, "You're an old white guy who's making comments about a much younger single mom."
She also teased that more context is coming, hinting at an upcoming conversation with Carl that might shift audience perception. "Keep watching," she said. "You'll learn a lot." Lindsay also stars in the upcoming Summer House spinoff In the City, where her storyline will continue past the summer.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
