Newest 'Star Wars' Film Had a Sneak Preview, and the Fans Have Spoken
Star Wars has been an interesting place recently.
Since the conclusion of the sequel trilogy, all of the Star Wars releases have been direct to streaming series on Disney+. Much of the event presence of the IP has dwindled a bit because of this, with the hype shifting from massive, blockbuster film releases to exciting, weekly episode releases. Shows like Andor, Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, andThe Mandalorian have been the sole live action output for the legendary film series. Needless to say, the classic format has been missing for a while.
That's what makes the upcoming release of The Mandalorian and Grogusuch a big deal. One of, if not the most iconic film franchises ever is finally returning to the big screen after seven years. We're getting a massive budget, spectacle, and good old-fashioned action adventure for the first time this decade.
At the recent IMAX Special Look event, fans were treated to over 25 minutes of the film in a sneak preview, and viewers were not shy with their thoughts:

"This is the best era to be in as a Star Wars fan," one excited viewer stated.
The first reactions are in, and they're incredibly positive. It seems we're getting back to some of the spectacular roots of the series, featuring adventure and action that draws you in and doesn't let go.
Fans had extremely high praise for the effects, sound, visuals, and action, one fan going as far to say that "it is an experience I have never experienced in Star Wars. Ever."
This is huge for the franchise, which is looking to make a statement with its return to IMAX screens. This move to allow fans to see parts of it early is drumming up some very exciting praise that is sure to bring people to theaters. Listen to some other thoughts from fans in attendance:
