Krispy Kreme Brings Back Minis for Mom Doughnut Collection
It's that time of the year again, a period when we're able to pay respect to one of the people most responsible for caring for us, nurturing us and raising us into the semi-functional human beings we are today.
That's right, Mother's Day is officially almost here. As most people go about making plans for celebrating that maternal figure in their lives, Krispy Kreme is getting in on the festivities with their returning Minis for Mom Donut Collection.
As the name implies, the Minis for Mom Donut Collection features bite-sized versions of the brand's most beloved donuts.
According to a new Instagram post shared by the iconic fast food chain, the collection specifically features four distinct flavors, each available in adorably mini format. These flavors include:
- Mini Original Glazed: a miniature version of Krispy Kreme's classic Original Glazed Donut.
- Mini Heart of Gold: a Mini Original Glazed Donut covered in yellow vanilla frosting with a hand-piped heart design.
- Mini Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles: a Mini Original Glazed Donut topped with a layer of chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
- Mini Strawberries & Creme: a Mini Original Glazed Donut coated strawberry‑flavored icing and topped with a vanilla buttercreme dollop.
Originally launched in 2023, the Minis for Mom Donut Collection has become one of Krispy Kreme's most popular seasonal offerings. Featuring a 16-count box of mini donuts, many fans have been quick to call the "perfect Mother's Day gift," as one user commented on Instagram.
The collection specifically features four of each donut variety in its conveniently-sized package.
"Minis for Mom is about recognizing everything moms do, big and small," said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer, in a recent press release from the company. "These mini doughnuts are an easy way to say thank you and make Mother's Day feel a little extra special."
