Giuliana And Bill Rancic Are Back With A New Venture Sparked By Personal Experience
After years of being off our TV screens, Giuliana and Bill Rancic are back - just in a different way.
Announced on Tuesday, via People, the couple is launching a podcast with the mission to help listeners debunk and solve daily inquiries ranging from health questions to products that you should or shouldn't buy.
"We're going to answer those questions that people need the answers to," Giuliana told the outlet, explaining how the idea for the podcast, aptly named "Bill & Giuliana: The Podcast," was sparked by a personal experience.
"I had my first colonoscopy this past year, and when I first had my first few sips of the prep, I'm like, 'This isn't bad. What's everyone complaining about?' By that night, I was crying, like, 'I can't finish it!'" she recalled. "At two in the morning, I'm desperately searching online for answers like, 'Do I have to finish my prep?'"
"And the next afternoon, I was talking to Bill, like, 'You know what would be a fun podcast? Like us, just answering these questions about things everyone is always Googling, like 'Do you have to finish your colonoscopy prep?'"
As for Bill, he explained that they'll also use the podcast as a platform to help listeners be more discerning customers when it comes to products advertised on social media, as he admitted he "falls for all the Instagram reels."

While the couple is making their first foray into the podcast space, they're no stranger to media and putting their lives out there. Their reality show, Giuliana and Bill, which ran from from 2009-2014, and addressed important issues including the longtime host's battle with breast cancer and infertility - which is something they're looking to do with the podcast as well.
"People are always like, 'Bring back the show, bring back the show!' And we've been waiting for the right platform to kind of do it in a different form, and this just seems like it," she said.
Giuliana is also, of course, known for her her longtime stint on E! News and as the face of red carpet coverage throughout the years. She married Bill in 2007 and the two share one son, Duke, who is now 14.
