'Dutton Ranch' draws 12.9M, biggest Paramount+ original series debut

May 27 (UPI) --Dutton Ranch is officially the biggest original series launch in Paramount+ history.

Paramount+ announced in a press release Tuesday that the Yellowstone spinoff drew 12.9 million views globally in its first week on the streaming service.

The show was the No. 1 streaming series for the week of May 11, according to Nielsen.

Dutton Ranch also delivered 2.9 million viewers with its two-episode debut May 15 on Paramount Network, the largest series premiere on cable since 2023.

In addition, the series had the No. 1 premiere on Paramount's social media, with 99 million video views and over 2 million engagements in its first three days.

Dutton Ranch follows Yellowstone's Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they leave the Dutton family ranch behind to start over in South Texas.

Ed Harris, Annette Bening, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca and Natalie Alyn Lind also star.
