Pete Davidson Praises Ex Kim Kardashian's 'Crazy Good' Acting Skills, Calls Her 'Superhuman'
Pete Davidson is singing his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian's praises. While hosting Nikki Glaser on his Netflix series The Pete Davidson Show, Davidson raved about Kardashian's acting skills after Glaser spoke about co-starring with her in The Fifth Wheel.
"Isn't it crazy Kim's good at acting?" Davidson mused to Glaser. "I remember when we were dating, one day she was just like, 'I think I'm gonna be an actress.' And I was just like, 'F-k yeah!' And then [she 's] just good at it and I'm like, 'Get the f-k out of here.' She's so good at acting."
"She's superhuman," he said. "I learned from her that no matter what's going on, like whatever in the news, you're still you, and you can just still go do s-t."
Glaser doubled down on Davidson's assertion, sharing "Anything she wants to do, she will do it, especially if people are like, 'You can't do this,'" and for her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway, she knew… everyone's gonna look for her to fail."
Kardashian and Davidson dated for about nine months from 2021 to 2022. An insider told People the reason for the breakup was due to "their busy schedules," and "They both travel all the time and it was hard."
The pair seemed to make an initial connection during Kid Cudi's birthday party when Kardashian tweeted a photo of him in 2019. In October 2021, she hosted Saturday Night Live, and she exchanged a kiss onstage with Davidson during their Jasmine and Aladdin sketch. Kardashian shared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that there was something behind that kiss. "It was a stage kiss, but it was still like, a little zing," she said. "It wasn't anything like a super-crazy feeling. I was just like, 'Hmm,' and then I was like, 'Wow, I really haven't kissed anyone else in 10 years, so maybe I'm just like being stupid and it's just nothing and it's just a stage kiss.'"
Shortly after her SNL appearance, rumors began to build that the pair were dating when they were spotted together at theme parks and parties. By February 2022, Davidson referred to Kardashian as his girlfriend for the first time, going "Instagram official" in March. But by August, the couple had split.
