Cozy Detective Game The Granny Detective Society Gets Steam Demo Following Thinky Direct Reveal

French indie game developer Team Empteintes has released a playable demo for the highly anticipated The Granny Detective Society, a quirky mystery game revolving around a group of elderly spies.

The demo was also announced alongside a new trailer that was showcased during the Think Direct presentation, giving you a first look at the detective experience. Players will step into the shoes of a retired mouse named Madeleine whose life takes a turn after becoming involved with the mysteries around her neighborhood.

Oh, and there is also a secretive organization of grandmother spies.

Madeleine is eventually recruited by these grandmother spies who lead her into a conspiracy tied to secrets from a time thought to be gone. The investigation is said to gradually grow into something much larger, forcing you to question everything you know.

The Granny Detective Society draws inspiration from games such as Duck Detective and The Case of the Golden Idol, combining investigative gameplay with a unique visual experience.

Not only can you play as multiple Grannytectives that each have their own unique abilities, but you can also enjoy various mini-games, like crossworld puzzles and such as you progress.
