How to Watch Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Nostalgic Hits for Free in June
Remember these kinds of exchanges back in the day: "Our mom said that if your mom says it's OK, then we can have a sleepover."
For folks of a certain age, overnights with your young pals usually meant jumping into your pajamas and huddling around the television for a marathon of vintage movies on VHS - maybe those starring celebrity twins.
And now, starting June 1, Pluto TV has made it easy for fans to take a trip down memory lane and revisit Mary-Kate & Ashley films from the 1990s and early 2000s. The following nostalgic hits will be free to stream all month long:
- It Takes Two (1995)
- Passport to Paris (1999)
- Billboard Dad (1998)
- Switching Goals (1999)
- New York Minute (2004)
Fans can stay up all night and watch the five in a row. And if they fall asleep, they can just pick up where they left off the next day. Pluto TV encourages cute PJ's and lip gloss for your home viewing, to help transport you back to the good ol' days.
Late last month, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, 39, were actually spotted walking together in New York, taking "twinning" to new heights with matching handbags, per Vogue. They were each in swaddling coats, dark sunglasses and their signature, casually draped scarves.
And let's not forget about their younger sister, who is now a red-hot Hollywood actress. While Elizabeth Olsen did appear in some of Mary-Kate and Ashley's projects, like How the West Was Fun and The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley, she mostly chose to remain out of the spotlight growing up.
Last year, Elizabeth, 37, explained that although she initially thought she wanted to follow in her sisters' footsteps, she had a change of heart when she realized she would be missing out on a lot of childhood activities. Find out more here.
