Watch: 'Enola Holmes 3' trailer brings action, mystery to Malta

June 9 (UPI) -- Netflix is teasing the new film Enola Holmes 3.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes, the younger sister of famed detective Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill).

The Enola Holmes films are based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries book series by Nancy Springer.

The third installment brings the action to Malta, where Enola (Brown) must juggle her wedding to Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge) and her brother Sherlock (Cavill) being kidnapped.

Far from London, Enola's "personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before," an official synopsis reads.

Other returning cast members include Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.

Enola Holmes 3premieres July 1 on Netflix.
