'70s Rock Band Announces Update on 2026 Tour After Canceling Shows
After being forced to cancel their spring and summer tour dates due to a medical emergency, the Psychedelic Furs have announced a series of U.S. shows in the fall. The exciting news was announced on Tuesday via Instagram, thrilling longtime fans who planned on attending the canceled shows.
The group's spring and summer trek was originally canceled in early May after bassist Tim Butler suffered a medical emergency that required a triple-bypass heart surgery. While disappointed, fans were extremely supportive, sending the band heartwarming messages and well-wishes.
The newly announced tour shows are scheduled for the fall of 2026, a slight pushback from the initial dates. The run will travel to 11 cities across the West Coast, commencing on October 29 in Rocklin, California and concluding on November 19 in Phoenix, Arizona. Joining the Psychedelic Furs is beloved indie rock band We Are Scientists, who will step in as support for the added concerts.

Nov. 16 – San Luis Obispo, California - Fremont Theater
Nov. 18 – Tucson, Arizona - La Rosa
Nov. 19 – Phoenix, Arizona - Celebrity Theatre
Tickets issued previously for the rescheduled concerts will be honored on the new dates. General sale tickets are currently available for purchase on the official Psychedelic Furs website.
