‘60s Rock Icon To Play Josh O'Connor's Father in New Movie
Disclosure Dayactor Josh O'Connor has revealed that Mick Jagger will be playing his dad in the new film, The Three Incestuous Sisters, from Happy as Lazzaro director Alice Rohrwacher.
Rohrwacher's adaptation of the 2005 "visual novel" by The Time Traveler's Wife author Audrey Niffenegger also stars recent Oscar-winner Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson and Saoirse Ronan.
Josh couldn't contain his excitement during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. "He's so cool. He's got incredible stories," he told the host about his time working with Mick in Italy.

When ask how Josh's real English teacher dad felt about Mick playing his on-screen father, The Crown actor joked: "He was the most excited. More excited than I was, really."
He added that his dad called him the day after filming to ask how he compared to the rockstar.
Italian media reported that the Rolling Stones frontman arrived in Stromboli last month via helicopter. Jagger had such a great time, the police were called to the wrap party. Per The Independent, the frontman and fellow cast members were at the party in a local venue on Wednesday in May when authorities attended and asked them to end the fun due to a local rule banning music on Wednesdays.
This isn't the rock legend's first foray into acting. He had lead roles in 1970's Performance and Ned Kelly. He later appeared in 1987's Running Out of Luck, directed by Julien Temple, and later in a villainous role in the cyberpunk thriller Freejack, alongside Emilio Estevez. Jagger went on to earn rave reviews for his role in Berlin set Bent and in 2002's The Man From Elysian Fields where he owned an escort service for wealthy women. Since then, Jagger has only been seen in cameo roles or playing himself.
Jagger has also used his star power to serve as a producer on three films. He produced one about his musical hero, James Brown (the biopic Get on Up and documentary Mr Dynamite), as well as Michael Apted's world war thriller Enigma, from 2001.
