'24 Jump Street' action-comedy in the works
June 11 (UPI) -- Producer Neal H. Moritz has posted on Instagram a photo of a script for 24 Jump Street.
It reads on the cover: "It took so long to make we had to skip one. Written by Rodney Rothman, Jonah Hill and Meghan Malloy."
At the bottom of the page is the date 6/9/26 and the words "Columbia Pictures."
The Hollywood Reporter said Hill, 42, Channing Tatum, 46, and Ice Cube, 56, are in talks to reprise their roles in the action-comedy, which would follow 2012's 21 Jump Street and its 2014 sequel 22 Jump Street.
The franchise sends up the cult-favorite 1980s TV cop drama that starred Johnny Depp, Peter DeLuise and Holly Robinson-Peete as baby-faced rookie officers who go undercover in high schools to solve crimes.
