"For You 25 yrs later is so epic to listen to," a commenter remarked.

"This song hits me in the feels so hard, I can't listen to it without crying," a fan echoed.

Staind's third album, Break the Cycle, transformed the band from being a rising rock group of the '90s into global nu-metal superstars in the 2000s as it dominated the charts with hits that topped rankings one after another.

Recalling the experience, lead guitarist Mike Mushok told Audio Ink Radio that his most remarkable memory was after releasing the album.

"I'm going to tell you the one thing that stands out the most is, and this is dumb, but just that first week and the phone call saying that we had sold 716,000 records in a week," he said, adding, "That was like, how does that even happen?"

Their smash hit "It's Been Awhile" spent 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and 16 weeks at No. 1 on the alternative rock chart.

Adding to the album's achievement, Break the Cycle is a certified 5× Platinum in the United States alone, giving the band massive commercial success.
