Oliver Tree Dead at 32
The music world is mourning the reported loss of Oliver Tree.
Oliver Tree Nickell, has reportedly died following a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was 32 years old.
According to TMZ and local outlets, Brazilian authorities identified Tree as one of six people killed after two helicopters collided in mid-air the morning of Sunday, June 14, over Rio's western zone.
Tree had been in Brazil after performing in São Paulo on June 6 as part of his ongoing world tour. He was scheduled to perform July 1 in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to outlets, authorities said five people were aboard one of the helicopters, while the second aircraft carried only its pilot. The victims were identified as Tree, Lucas Brito Chaves, Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, pilot Alexandre Souza, and pilot Charles Marsillac, who was in the other helicopter alone.
Sources say the crash occurred around 9 a.m. local time. One of the helicopters came down on a car dealership, igniting a fire that reportedly spread to approximately 20 electric vehicles parked on the property.
Brazilian aviation officials have launched an investigation into what caused the fatal collision. CNN Brasil reported that Brazil's Air Force, through its Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA), has begun gathering evidence and assessing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Tree rose to fame through songs like "Life Goes On" and "Miss You," and is known for his blend of alternative pop and instantly recognizable bowl-cut persona.
