Lauren Sánchez Bezos, 56, Turns Heads in Crochet Dress in Paris
Lauren Sánchez Bezos does not do low-key, and her latest Paris outing proved it once more.
Stepping out this weekend, she turned heads in an airy sky-blue dress made for the city's warm weather, but the real flex was hidden on the label. The airy design came straight from Christian Dior's Spring/Summer 2001 collection by John Galliano, a rare archival find. It featured a crochet-style construction in soft sky-blue, delicate spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline and metallic chainmail accents shimmering across the bodice and skirt.
A Vintage Dior Moment
Sánchez Bezos, 56, was photographed leaving her hotel before an evening out with husband Jeff Bezos at the Grand Palais. A micro minidress underneath contrasted with a flowing layer that fell below the knees, an avant-garde Galliano silhouette that still reads modern more than two decades later. Archival Dior like this has become a coveted get among collectors and celebrity stylists, and she has built a reputation for tracking it down.
All in the Details
She kept the theme going with her accessories, swapping a typical evening bag for Chanel's Ice Cube Minaudière, a novelty clutch first shown in Karl Lagerfeld's Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Its silver hardware echoed the chainmail on the dress. Oversized diamond studs, her engagement ring, black sunglasses and pale-pink pumps finished the look, along with a glossy pink manicure and a high, loosely waved ponytail.
The outing landed just ahead of Men's Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027. It is the latest in a fashion run that has only intensified since her star-studded Venice wedding to Bezos last summer. She co-chaired the 2026 Met Gala alongside Nicole Kidman this spring, and she has spent the months since pulling rare archival pieces, from Galliano-era Dior to vintage Chanel, that keep her firmly in the style conversation. If the weekend was any hint, she is not planning to blend in.
