Prince Harry Has ‘No Plan' to Meet Prince William on UK Trip, Expert Says

This week on Royally Us, Prince Harry prepares for his July visit to Birmingham, England, for Invictus Games events, while Hello!royal editor Emily Nash weighs in on whether he might meet with his father, King Charles III, or his brother, Prince William.

"My understanding is there's no plan for him to meet with his brother," Nash tells Us. "There's no communication there at present time and it's very sad for all involved, but they're both very busy, getting on with their lives, and I think Harry does have a bit more of a relationship with his father, so perhaps he will focus his efforts there for now."

As for a meeting with Harry's father, Nash adds, "I think it would have to mean their diaries matching up perfectly, and they're being willing on both sides."

Harry, 41 briefly met up with dad Charles, 77, in September 2025 for the first time in two years, with insiders telling Us at the time that the reunion was "super positive and very relaxed."

"[They were catching up personally about the children and what has been going on with Charles and his health," a source added. "There were hugs and tears at the meeting."

Nash gives Us an Inside look into the current state of Harry and King Charles' relationship ahead of his July trip across the pond, revealing that the father-son duo do communicate.

"But there has been a lot of difficulty around that, and obviously so many things have been said, and to an extent, it can be water under the bridge," Nash adds of the relationship dynamic. "I think it's always going to be quite strained as a result."

On Saturday, June 13, Prince Harry made a rare virtual appearance in support of the 2026 Invictus Germany Sports Festival on the same day his estranged royal family members attended the annual Trooping the Colour.

"It is an honor to be sending this message as you all gather in Düsseldort for another Invictus sporting title," Prince Harry said in a video shared via the Invictus Games' official Instagram Stories. "Germany is setting a powerful example of what it means to honor service with dignity and enduring commitment. We are now gathered for the second Invictus Germany Sports Festival, welcoming 11 nations."
