Bravo Reality TV Star and Dr. Dre Are Officially the Most Unexpected Couple, and Fans Are Divided
It's official! Bravo reality TV star Michelle Saniei is dating Dr. Dre, and this is one of the most unexpected match-ups of the year…if not the decade.
Rumors started flying back in April when the 37-year-old The Valley cast member was spotted with the iconic rapper/music producer holding hands after a dinner at Nobu Malibu. While it certainly looked like the pair was coupled up, neither commented on their possibly budding relationship.
That was then, and this is now. A few short months later, Saniei revealed toPEOPLE, "We're spending time together, and we love being in each other's company." But don't expect to see Dre making an appearance on The Valley anytime soon (or ever, for that matter). Michelle added, "For now we're just keeping everything super private. I'm just living my life."
Saniei also opened up about her split from fellow The Valley star, ex-husband Jesse Lally, saying, "I think in the beginning you get so scared, ‘Did I make the right choice and is this best for myself and my child?' But now looking back, I feel like everything I did was the best decision for myself and for my daughter and I have no regrets on that part." She continued, "I'm truly happy with where life is taking me."
So where do Saniei and Lally stand now that Dr. Dre is in the picture? The couple shares one child (a daughter, Isabella Lally), and based on the mom's most recent comments, it looks like co-parenting is pretty much the only contact she has with her ex. Saniei also told PEOPLE, "I try not to really have a relationship with him unless it has to be about our daughter. We won't text, we won't see each other unless like Isabella has a school function."
The Valley fans know that Dr. Dre isn't the first man Saniei has dated since she separated from Lally. Following the former couple's very public split, Saniei dated Aaron Nosler. And while things looked promising, and the pair moved in together, the relationship ultimately did not work out. That left Michelle single and ready to date again.

Fans certainly have thoughts on this pairing. In a recent Reddit post, one wrote, "Still the most random relationship ever." Of course, that was tame compared to some of the other comments. Others said, "This is not the flex she might think it is", "Jesse will be jealous, but she is making a mistake for sure", and "What is she thinking? I hope she's not planning to have a serious relationship with this man."
