Tyra Banks, Ciara to appear as 'Project Runway' Season 22 guest judges

June 18 (UPI) --Tyra Banks will return to Project Runway as a recurring judge in Season 22.

Disney+ said in a press release that Banks, the former host of America's Next Top Model, will appear alongside series judges Heidi Klum, Law Roach and Nina Garcia.

Guest judges include Ciara, Ice Spice, Iman, Fausto Puglisi, Kiernan Shipka, Niecy Nash, Nina Dobrev, Sergio Hudson, Willy Chavarria and Winnie Harlow.

In addition, Becca Bloom, Hannah Berner, Molly Rogers, Nara Smith, Nicky Campbell and Paige DeSorbo will make cameos.

Klum also hosts the show, with fashion designer Christian Siriano serving as mentor.

Season 22 will see 22 aspiring designers from different backgrounds compete in a series of challenges.

The new season was previously announced to feature Dancing with the Stars cast members including Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson and Julianne Hough to model designs on the runway.

Project Runway Season 22 premieres July 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Freeform and will also stream on Hulu and Disney+.
