Noah Wyle Ranked Among 'Hottest Gen X Actors' - See the Top 5
The 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards are fast approaching, and it looks like The Pitt will be another top contender this year.
In the meantime, its beloved leading man is continuing his hot streak by topping a new kind of Hollywood list, just released by AARP's Movies for Grownups: the 25 Hottest Gen X Actors.
The stars from a generation that grew up on MTV, video stores and long afternoons at the mall are evidently still in their prime, churning out some of their most compelling work yet.
Wyle, 55, is ranked on the new list at No. 1 by AARP, which had given the Emmy winner an award back in January for his work on The Pitt.
"Being a parent with a little wisdom and maturity, getting to do this sort of the same thing again, but from a totally different perspective, more grounded, a little bit less anxiety, a little bit more appreciative, a little bit more presence has been a real gift," Wyle told AARP.
Wyle is joined on the 25 Hottest Gen X Actors list by Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Ryan Gosling, Taye Diggs and more.
"This year's list was built on a clear set of criteria: the quality and ambition of recent work, awards recognition, cultural resonance, and the rare ability to hold an audience's attention not just for a moment but across decades," said Alison Maxwell, senior executive editor of AARP.org, in a statement. "For actors like Noah Wyle, Hugh Jackman, Pedro Pascal and Sterling K. Brown, their presence here is a testament to exactly that."
Here's a glance at the top 10 off AARP's Movies for Grownups all-new Gen X list:
- Noah Wyle, 55
- Matt Damon, 55
