Theater Picks: Justice Theater Project’s ‘Black Nativity’ at NCSU
Back for its sixth year, Justice Theater Project’s “Black Nativity” is the retelling of the Christmas story though Langston Hughes’ lyrical poetry, along with a multi-cultural chorus, vocal soloists and dancers. New this year are rapping shepherds and new arrangements of familiar gospel songs. Stewart Theatre, NCSU.
