Theater Picks: South Stream stages ‘Blackbird’ at Sonorous Road in Raleigh
David Harrower’s 2005 play, “Blackbird,” is an intense drama concerning a middle-aged man confronted by a 27-year-old woman about his sexual abuse of her when she was 12. Her anger and his guilt are complicated by their continued feelings for each other. Brook North directs the South Stream Productions’ staging at Sonorous Road Theatre.
