St. Paddy’s parade

Raleigh’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Wearin’ ’O the Green Festival Parade will have lots of food and drink, activities for kids on Leprechaun Lane, and Celtic-inspired jewelry, arts and crafts. Plus, live music!

This pawsome 5k Run/1.5M Dog Walk raises money for dogs – and cats – whose owners cannot afford their medical care at the N.C. State Veterinary Health Complex. Participants raise money from pledges for the completion of endurance athletic events.

Arbor Day in Durham

Durham’s annual celebration of trees will have activities suitable for all ages, including the planting of 100 trees (tools provided), a tree seeding giveaway, advice on selecting and growing trees and more.
