Theater Picks: Two productions in RLT’s ‘Women in War’ series

Raleigh Little Theatre continues its “Women in War” series with two productions this weekend. Mike Wiley’s “Downrange: Voices from the Homefront” explores the effects of deployments on those left behind, based on true stories of North Carolina military families. George Brant’s “Grounded” is one-woman show about a hotshot fighter pilot who’s put on desk duty while pregnant, causing her to confront her obsession with flying bombing missions. “Downrange”: 8 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday; $10. “Grounded”: 8 p.m. Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday; $15.
