Theater Picks: Story of famed football coach told in ‘Lombardi’
Iconic football coach Vince Lombardi is the subject of Eric Simonson’s 2010 Broadway play, “Lombardi.” In the run-up to his 1965 NFL championship, Lombardi’s prickly persona comes out as a Look Magazine reporter interviews him. David Henderson stars in Theatre Raleigh’s production. Kennedy Theatre, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
