Theater Picks, May 15: ‘Oh, What a Lovely War’ in Carrboro

Carrboro ArtsCenter finishes up its season-long exploration of World War I with a production of the musical, “Oh, What a Lovely War!” The 1963 show uses a vaudeville approach, with a mix of song, dance and comedy sketches of the day to ironically comment on the horrors and tragedies of “the war to end all wars.” Hope Alexander directs. May 15-May 24. $14-$18. 919-929-2787 or artscenterlive.org.
