The final movie in Knightdale’s Spring Into Summer Outdoor Movie Night series is “Night at the Museum” with Ben Stiller and Robin Williams. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair. You can buy food from Jay’s Italian Ice, Get Iced Cupcakes and Chick-fil-A. Movie starts at dusk but be seated by 8 p.m.

Tomato Day!
It’s Tomato Day at the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market, which means samples of dozens of varieties from vendors, plus a chance to vote for the best tomato in heirloom, cherry and hybrid categories. Also, a cooking demo by Fig & Honey and music by The Gary Mitchell Trio.

The Girls Rock Summer Showcase features 16 girl bands (ages 7-15) who have worked at the Girls Rock summer camp all week to create original music together. (The Girls Rock NC organization works to empower girls and women through creative expression.)

Carolina Music Awards
This awards show recognizes Carolina artists in rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, Americana, country, R&B and youth genres. This year’s show is hosted by Andrea Laing and will feature a performance from “The Buddy Holly Story” actor James Barry.
