Theater Picks, July 17: ‘Guys and Dolls’ and ‘Runaways’

This weekend boasts productions from two long-established summer youth conservatory programs.

Playmakers Repertory Company offers “Guys and Dolls,” the colorful Frank Loesser musical based on Damon Runyon stories about 1930s New York (through July 25). “Guys and Dolls”: $15 (students $10). 919-962-7529 or playmakersrep.org.
