Theater Picks: PlayMakers presents ‘Uncle Ho to Uncle Sam’
Chapel Hill’s PlayMakers Repertory Company offers its first PRC2 series production this weekend with “Uncle Ho to Uncle Sam.” Written by Robert Egan (who also directs) and Trieu Tran (who also performs the one-man show), it’s the gripping story of a Vietnamese boy who escapes Saigon before the fall, becomes a refugee and makes it to America, only to face gang wars and brutality.
