Classical Picks: Duke hosts string quartet from Spain

Duke Performances hosts Cuarteto Casals, the first internationally famous string quartet from Spain. Since its founding in 1997, the foursome has recorded 11 CDs and played throughout Europe, North America and Japan.

Selections on Saturday’s program in Baldwin Auditorium include quartets by Mozart, Ravel and Shostakovich. 8 p.m. $36-$42 (ages 30 and under $15). 919-684-4444 or dukeperformances.duke.edu.
