Take Five: Clayton Piano Festival kicks off with masked ball

The fourth annual festival boasts a week of concerts starting Friday with a Halloween masked ball and a show made up of menacing compositions.

All-day party

Noon-midnight Saturday; City Market Hall and 214 Martin in downtown Raleigh; $12 ($5 for 12 & under); kscope2015.com

Kaleidoscope features nonstop entertainment from 30 performers, including musicians Cynthia Jones and the La Fiesta Latin Jazz Band. Also, salsa dancing, belly dancing, hip-hop and line dancing, along with food trucks, local mascots and a magic show.

Barktoberfest

2-5 p.m. Saturday; Durham Central Park, 501 Foster St., Durham; free; nando.com/2ln

This event, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit Coalition to Unchain Dogs, has contests for pets and their people, including Best Pet Costume, Best Pet Trick and more. Also, games for humans, a raffle, and local food and beer.

Food truck rodeo

Noon-4 p.m. Sunday; Durham Central Park, 501 Foster St., Durham; durhamcentralpark.org

Enjoy 50 food trucks, local craft beer and live music. Plus Durham-based nonprofit Farmer Foodshare will have an “Eat Your Zip Code” trivia game, veggie face painting and arts/crafts table for the kids.

All Saints’ Day

3 p.m. Sunday; Oakwood Cemetery, Hillside South Section, Raleigh; free; historicoakwoodcemetery.org

Historic Oakwood Cemetery honors the memories of those interred with a service on the grounds led by clergy from St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and music from the Raleigh Moravian Church Brass Band.
